
It looked like it snowed out. The whole court was white from a distance. The fluff from the trees was building up against the fence just like snow does on the windward side of a building. The courts really were white. You could still see the surface underneath. I would wager at least 60% of the asphalt was covered with the dust.
We agreed that neither of us wanted to slip. I was worried about a shoulder injury. MrS about an ankle.
We warmed up short, baseline, and then serves. While we did this we agreed to a best of five match with no ad scoring. Played well. We were both slow. Many long rallies. At three hours we decided to stop. 6-4, 7-5, 3-6.
I had the rackets I have been adjusting. They felt pretty much the same today except for the stringing. I stuck with the 18ga.
Oh well, maybe next week.
