Andy Livingstone, Expo Boulevard, Vancouver, BC

Took the better of two courts for serving. Not for playing. Half the court was shaded when we started. It was going to get hot quick so this was the best part. On this end there was a shattered Jack Daniels bottle And a puddle from the middle of the doubles alley to the fence, from the baseline to well past the service line.

We started short court to loosen up for about 15 minutes. Then we began serving. The first hopper was slow. Soon we were on our fifth and it was time to switch it up. We could not play on this court so we had to go through another hopper while we waited for the other.

We played a couple of games then our parking spaces was about to expire and left.
