Rain… for how long? – Wheelchair Tennis

A change of seasons comes in weather not on dates. Winter has begun. The rain is here. Over the last year it started to stop in late June and the beginning of July. We paid for courts until the end of June in 2012. I paid between 6 – hundred last year each month to play. Court fees, lessons, clinics, leagues, gas, and parking. This year the limit will be 300 not including trips.

Played indoors today. Felt weird. Italian doubles. first doubles side 06 Singles side 67 47 in the tiebreaker. Third set timed out at 21. Fun. I would like to rally for a few hours for a few sessions more. No games just hitting. Get the zen again.

I guess the Birmingham National Wheelchair Tennis Championships are on soon. I wish all my countrymen/women the best in putting out their best game. Its not important that you are good looking it only matters if you look good. Cheers and good luck.

The change of weather will likely bring a slow down. If it is dry on the weekends I will play them again. I imagine I can find a dry court in Delta, Richmond or Tsawwassen.

Today’s hit went well.
