Hit with Mr Hart again today.  Nice short court warm up followed by long court rally.  We then moved to serving and playing the point out.  No sun so it was nice and easy on the eyes for serves.

Met the president of the Stanley Park tennis club, Steven.  Nice guy working hard to maintain the courts.  They should put up some DO NOT LITTER signs.  Really some people are pigs.  The age old complaint of mine that tennis is a gentlemen’s sport so why doesn’t attract more gentlemen.  Simple things; pick up after yourself, do not walk beside or behind a court when a point is being played out, if you have finished a rally or point STOP to let the people pass, do not walk onto a court to get your ball while other people are playing, say thank you when some one returns a ball to you, if you bring it onto the court ~ take it off the court,  NO SWEARING ~ everybody does it once in a while but some people do it constantly.

For the love of tennis keep it civil!
