It is a light tropical storm here in Pensacola.  First day of play is not happening.  The forecast is for it to continue tomorrow.  I did get to practice yesterday.  I hit with my doubles partner and another player. After that I hit with an open women’s player from Lithuania.  I then played a match with my partner.  Him came on strong in the first set  finishing 2-6.  In the second set I started to power up.  Something I had not been able to do when playing points for almost a year.  It was amazing!  Points were being won on passing shots.  Powerful shots to my opponent were unreturnable.  He said he had to save his wrist for the tournament.  I WAS ON!  I really hoped to carry that into my matches but as it looks now I will not play at all.  I will say I will have to enter the next tournament in A’s again unless the weather changes today.
