Played Eric Gilbert from St. Raymond Quebec.  Thank you Eric.  The score was 26 16.  I did many this right during the match but Eric was able to thrive on my worst habit.  I know that playing at this level is of course different then all the previous ones.  For instance in D it was all about getting the ball and making just one more time over your opponent.  Mastering different skills, developing new and braking old habits are required to succeed at any level.  Eric is 3rd in Canada and 92 in the world.  Of course I wanted to win but I am happy with my improvements and watch them as they carry into my next matches.

Waited for over twelve hours for the rain to stop.  Courts are being blown dry.  A few of us decided to dry one up with our chairs and some balls.  Kevin, Andre, Carl, Carlos and I.  It was a good warm up for the beginning of the day.  We played a few games.

First round doubles.  Slaughtered in the first set. Actually had a lead for a moment in the second.  Stormy outside the tournament was moved into an indoor facility.  Tornado warning and flash floods.  Returning to the hotel room I found the high winds were forcing rain into my room around all edges of the window.  This is the first place I played were I saw a lightening warning sign on the outdoor courts. 26 46
